Evidently, I shot this part of a frame while doing it. This was my attempt at trying to catch a meteor duing the Perseid meteor shower of 2013. I didn't get any meteors passing by in this frame, but two airplanes happened to go by right through the middle of my frame. It was clear when I started, then clouds began to roll in. That's why there are gaps toward the end of the star streaks - clouds obliterated part of them during the exposure.
