Zenit DF-300x

Zenit DF-300x

The Zenit DF-300x is a clone of the Minolta X-300. It work the same as the Minolta, plus I can use all my Minolta manual focus lens on it.

When I bought it, it didn't work. But I discovered it was the notorious "bad capacitor" issue and I was able to fix the camera and get it working normally once again. Not bad for a camera that cost me less than $8!

This is one of the latest cameras I found for my collection. I got it for only a little over $7 because it didn't work. I took it apart and found out it was suffering from the "bad capacitor" issue. I soldered in a new one and now it works like a charm!

Wallpaper Store

This used to be a wallpaper store. The roof has caved in, but at least the walls are still standing. I bought an old camera and this film, along with four other rolls, were part of the package. I don't think the film was stored correctly because it turned out real grainy. Field Of Tanks

A lot of propane tanks being stored in a field near my town. I developed this roll of film last night and it turned out real grainy. I had never used Ilford HP5+ film before, so I don't know if it's supposed to be this grainy or if it's because of how the film was stored. This film and four other rolls came with a camera I bought and the film was long expired, so it might be that. Or it might be that this film and developer combination doesnt work well together. Who knows? But the camera was broken when I bought it, so I was able to fix it and got it working properly. All in all, I guess I can't complain. 2025 - Our Flag Was Still There

04 Jul 2025 1 201
The Star Spangled Banner Oh, say! can you see by the dawn's early light What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming; Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight, O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming? And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air, Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there. Oh, say! does that star-spangled banner yet wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
