Kodak Brownie Hawkeye Flash No. 9

A friend of mine knew I collected cameras and found this one and gave it to me. I now have nine of these Kodak Brownie Hawkeye Flash cameras.

These are some members of my church who went up to cook at the Union Grove General Baptist Youth Camp on Monday, July 22nd, 2024. I was also there to help, but I had to take the picture, so I'm not in it. The Kodak Brownie Hawkeye Flash camera that I used was given to me by a friend and it was made in 1956. The film is the new 120 format Kodak Gold 200 they recently introduced and this was the first time I've had a chance to try it out. It looks good to me. This shot was taken indoors, so I had to use the flash attachment and one of those great big flash bulbs of old. Boy, are they bright! They're standing in front of their cabin for senior boys and they were good enough to pose for me and my camera. The Kodak Brownie Hawkeye Flash camera that I used was given to me by a friend and it was made in 1956. I gave it a good cleaning, inside and out, and it still works as good as new.
