Kentmere 100

Kentmere is a bargain brand of black and white film made by Ilford. I really like their 100 speed version and use it often.

This is the bell that used to hang in the first Methodist Church ever built in Illinois. It was called Ebenezer Methodist Church and was organized on October 16th, 1838. In the 1980's, the old church was raized and the bell was moved here, to the Methodist Church in town. I tried out some new film today in my Pentax K1000 - it was a relatively new company called Kentmere, out of Great Britain. This was some of their 35mm 100 ISO black and white film. There's a house about a block from mine that is surrounded by pine trees. I always love going past it. The trees smell so nice - so piney fresh! This is the huge, modern radio tower that's behind the bank building in Norris City. Less than a block away from an abandoned gas station, it shows the divergence of how our town's status really is heading. It seems to be dying. The first shot I took with my Polaroid I-Zone camera. I cut down some black and white 35mm film and fit it inside. Due to the fact that I didn't measure it for fit before I attempted to load the negative inside, (in the dark), the negative kind of bunched up and I think it didn't turn out as sharply focused as it could have.
