This toy camera was a tie-in with some Lego movie called "Ninjago." Apparently, it was a McDonald's Happy Meal toy and I found it at the Goodwill store in Mt. Vernon, Illinois yesterday. Each year in May, I celebrate Turko de Mayo. This was 2018's version. It's my own holiday and I created it because the traditional meal we have at Thanksgiving, in November, is my favorite meal of all. By creating a holiday in May, I get to have the same foods featured in a Thanksgiving dinner twice a year. Turko de Mayo for me includes, of course, a golden brown turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, green beans with smoked sausage, homemade rolls, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie. It seems like an extravagant meal, but it will last me a week and a half, plus I'll put a gallon freezer bag or two full of the leftover turkey meat into the freezer to make something with later. A fireplug in the heart of my downtown. All the plug-ins to the right are for the vendors who set up around there for our local street fair in September. This was some regular 35mm film that I reloaded into an old 50-year-old Kodak Kodacolor-X 126 cartridge. I only scanned the usuable area in between the sprocket holes along each edge.
