Flowers
Various flowers, mainly from around my yard.
Dandelion Flower
This dandelion flower was part of a batch I picked with which to make some dandelion wine. I ended up making two slightly different recipes and both batches are fermenting nicely.

Tiny Beetle
This tiny beetle was sitting on a daffodil that was about ready to bloom. Believe me, I almost overlooked it because it was so small. It was less than 1/64 of an inch long, less than two millimeters!

Fresh As A Daisy
Some of the wildflowers that grow in Southern Illinois. These daisies were growing just outside my hometown. To light this shot, the sun peeked through a tiny area at the top of a tree across the lane from these flowers and mainly shined on the flowers themselves, while leaving the background in shadow.

After The Rains
Little flowers after a small shower. I don't know what kind they are, but maybe someone does?
Bradford Pear Tree Blossom
My Bradford Pear tree is starting to bloom again. I just love these tiny little delicate blossoms.
In The Eyes Of The Beholder
A contact of mine on Ipernity commented on how some weeds look as beautiful and that if you tried to cultivate them, then they'd die. But, when you don't necessarily want them, they flourish.
I don't know what these little flowers that grow down among the grass are called, but I think they're pretty.
Update: My cousin has identified these as Wild Grape Hyacinths.
Granny Smith Apple Blossom
I have two different kinds of apple trees in my yard, this is from the Granny Smith tree. The other tree produces red apples of some kind.
Dandelion Wine Label
I've got two slightly different batches of dandelion wine fermenting right now, so I worked up a label to use when it comes time for bottling it. The name I chose for the winery refers to an underground stream or river that runs under my town.
Fields Of Gold
A field near my hometown that was just bursting with yellow flowers. Probably a weed, though. Taken on April 29th, 2011.

The Roses Are In Bloom
Climbing Roses
I have some lattice-work on the side of my house and these climbing roses grow up to the edge of the roof on my second story. When they're in bloom, there can be hundreds of roses like this showing at the same time. They've just started blooming in the last few days. Taken on May 20th, 2019.
It seems like I'm always noticing them for the first time each year on May 20th.

This is the first sunflower to bloom that I planted earlier this year. It's still not very big, but it's getting there!
