Konica Autoreflex TC

Konica Autoreflex TC No. 1

I bought this camera because I shot with one just like it back in the late 1970s when I was the photographer on my local high school's yearbook staff for two years.

Konica Autoreflex TC

I've had this Konica Autoreflex TC 35mm SLR almost 20 years now. When I first picked it up, it fired a couple times, then jammed up and wouldn't work anymore. I fixed it recently and finally got a good shot of the camera with a lens on it that I bought separately. Back in the 1970s, I was my high school's yearbook photographer for a couple years and they had a camera just like this one. That's why I bought this one, because I remembered all the fun I had using the school's Konica camera.

Tuner

My old radio tuner that goes with my component stereo. Does anybody else still have these? I’ve had this camera for about 17 years and I just fixed it and used it for the first time tonight. I was also shooting with some long expired film. But it seems to have turned out all right. Gray Day In Norris City

It's been heavily overcast the last few days here as Winter is setting in. The image is a little grainier than I would have liked, but the film has been expired for quite a while. On a side note - as soon as I stepped out of my car to take this shot, it started raining for the first time today. Camera: Konica Autoreflex TC No. 1 Lens: Konica Hexanon AR 50mm, f/1.7 Film: Snappy Colour 200 (long expired and shot @50 ISO) Program: Manual (no battery) Aperture: F/5.6 Shutter Speed: 1/30th of a second Date: December 2nd, 2022, 2.15 p.m. Location: Norris City, Illinois, U.S.A. Magicube

A closeup of an old Magicube flash cube. These were made for Instamatic cameras and didn’t require batteries to make them flash. This hasn’t been cropped at all, it’s just that with the 2x tele-converter and the +3 close-up lens, it allows me to get this close to a small object. It turned out grainy due to the expired film and I also noticed that this particular combination of lenses makes for a pretty shallow depth-of-field. This particular Magicube is a Sylvania Blue Dot Magicube - a classic flash cube brand. Beatles '24

The picture for the first month of my 2024 Beatles calendar. I've been getting the new one every year for forty years or so. I took this shot, developed the film and posted it - all in under six hours! Plus, I developed two other rolls of film during that time as well. The film was expired for about 20 years, but it seems to have been all right. Especially since I exposed it two stops below the box speed of 400. Camera: Konica Autoreflex TC No. 1 Lens: Konica Hexanon AR 50mm, f/1.7 Film: Fuji Film Superia X-TRA 400 (long expired and shot @100) Program: Manual (no battery) Aperture: F/16 Shutter Speed: “B” (bulb) 8 seconds Date: January 13th, 2024, 6.42 p.m. Location: Norris City, Illinois, U.S.A. Little Toy Truck

This is a Maisto 1977 Ford truck. They need to make more ordinary vehicles like this instead of more Mustangs and Corvettes. The film was expired for about 20 years, but it seems to have turned out all right. I exposed it two stops below the box speed of 400 and that probably helped a lot.
