Royal Letter
My user name here and elsewhere on the internet is "HaarFager." I took it from the name of one of my distant relatives; an early Viking king.
In the year 872, Harald Fair Hair, (fair hair in Norwegian is spelled "haar fager"), united all the areas into the country of Norway. Harald had one son who was known as "Haraldsson." The name Haraldsson, over the years, evolved into "Harrelson," which is my name.
Each year, I send a Christmas card to Harald V, King of Norway. I'm pretty sure that distantly we're related somehow. That's how I came to receive the above royal letter, from a very gracious Monarch.
And now, page two....
