Animal Farm

Animal Farm
I have been re-reading Kenneth Grahame's wonderful book "The Wind In The Willows" the last couple days. So, last night, what did I see? A frog had somehow gotten into my house and I had to chase it down. (Believe me, that wasn't easy when you can't walk!) And a little while ago, I saw a mouse go scurrying across my living room carpet. (I had to set out a trap for him because he needs to get his own house.)

I'm hoping a badger doesn't run through next!

omg... I will NEVER come to your house!! either one of those things inside my house would set me a 'girl screaming!' Now are you sure they were r.e.a.l.??

How are you feeling now? Don't you have a walking cast? well even with one, walking is still for of a hobble along, but at least you can be a bit mobile... I have not left my deck in 4 days.. well I did go down the steps once.. realized what a mistake that was, going down was not too bad, getting up was interesting to say the least!

No, cast. It's just bandaged up and I'm supposed to stay off it and not get it wet. I've got books and snacks setting by the couch,(plus 2 cameras), the tv/vcr/dvd remotes handy and am trying to stay there. The computer is upstairs so I don't use it as much as normal. When I do go up here, I sit on my but and crawl up backwards so I don't have to risk walking on my foot or falling down the stairs on those crutches. Food and the bathroom are just a short crutch excursion away.

I have bandages and a cast...I thought that weird as it was the top of my foot opened up...and that is where the cast does up.. it's an air cast so I can pump it up and down as I see fit! I haven't really farted around with it much except taking it off yesterday.. damn that was not the wisest decision I have ever made! hindsight IS 20-20
