Thanks! Shooting on black velvet always seems to make the subject stand out. The reason I moved up from my a230 was because my ex-girlfriend's daughter broke that one and this one had to be purchased to replace it. The a230 still worked good (until it was dropped on the pavement), and I liked it, but time moves on, I suppose.

Thanks, Tony! That's what I love about this Sony. Not only can I use my old Minolta auto-focus lenses, the A-mount, I even have an adapter that allows this camera to take all my 40-year old manual-focus Minolta lenses as well.
