Blue seems to have taken an interest in helping to "re-sort" my papers. My dad, the accountant who LOVED paperwork, would be proud! :)

At 85 years young, he still gets around rather well. He's the landlord of one of our studio locations, and he's a retired pilot and an avid reader. He's got some fascinating stories, and he's got the quick-thinking and insight of someone much, much younger. He's certainly not "old" by any traditional measure of age. He's quite computer literate, and he's been pointing me to some interesting things around York, Harrisburg, and Lancaster that I'd like to take in, given enough time. Oh, that the world had more Mr. Beckers!

When I asked for a room with a view, this is not what I had in mind. Seriously, the hotel is fabulous, their restaurant is fantastic, and the pool is wonderful, but this was a tiny bit of a letdown. (Now I know why I got the fantastic rate. lol)

Visiting with my new manager today after church, we discovered he had a new visitor behind his house. I think this guy was after the fish... or maybe bugs.

I'm not sure if Blue was very happy with my taking his photo from the other side of the car. When I went over to his side of the car to kiss him goodbye, he brightened up and was much happier!

Mama #1 with her litter of four. The other mom lost three of her kittens, but the remaining kitten seems to be doing well, as he has no siblings for sharing mama's milk. Together, the five kittens play well together, although their mother's aren't too keen on the idea of their children becoming "friends" and playing together. I guess prejudice exists in the animal world, too.
