Although its no longer considered "Politically Correct" by some, this historical marker for the location of the first Louisiana Seminary, near Pineville, LA. uses the abbreviation "A.D." for anno Domini, "The Year of Our Lord." Seminary built 1859, destroyed by fire in 1869, marker erected amid the ruins in 1926 by The Colonial Dames of Alexandria, LA. (photo circa 2008 A.D./C.E.)

Not sure what kind of face this is, but I'd hate to run into a face like this in a dark alley on a moonless night. Scary!
