I'm creating a new type of set today, and these shots are the first pictures going into this set. The new set title is "Pictures taken during times of boredom or nothing to do." Unable to get to sleep in a Tupelo hotel room, I decided to take pictures of homes and trees within view of my window, businesses across the street, and cars going through the drive through of The Steak Escape. (I know. I was really, really bored.) Turning the lights out in my hotel room, I opened the curtains and held the camera and proceeded to take these shots. Since these shots were taken without the benefit of any kind of tripod or stable fixture on which to sit the camera, it's amazing the photos are as clear as they are. (I figure anyone bothering to look at these shots must be as bored as I was when I took these pictures. lol)

Me, too. I bought a Canon T3i for Kristin, hoping she'll have some time to begin taking photos of Kolton, herself, and little Blue when he gets just a little bigger. And I bought myself a new lens for my Canon 60D. Nothing spectacular, but I got a Canon EFS55-250mm lens. It had pretty decent reviews and it was on sale, so I guess I'm hooked into Canon now. (Everyone tells me that once you start investing money in lenses, you're not likely to change brands.)
