Harlequin Duck

The Harlequin Duck migration represents a ecological link over hundreds of kilometres.Harlequins are sea ducks spending most of the year in the coastal Pacific, in Spring they fly inland to breed, nest and rear their young on fast moving mountain rivers. They return to the same nesting grounds annually.
