We have had a wetter than usual summer here. Today has been the highest rate of rainfall in years. This is the view from the lounge room window. During a brief lessening of the rain I checked the letterbox, see pip. February 2022.

This is the view from the back door. See pips. The bottom one shows the water flowing past and not far off wanting to flow in the doorway. February 2022.

For many many years children have climbed all over this steam roller including some of my children and grandchildren. Now it has been put in a prison so children cannot explore it and engage in imaginative play on it. Three Cheers Toowoomba Regional Council NOT!

Qantas flight 1414 operated by a DH Dash 8 400, VH QOR, has arrived from Sydney. Mouse over the PiPs to see it become QF 1413 Toowoomba to Sydney. In the third PiP from the left the additional distant lights ahead of the plane are on a vehicle which runs the length of the runway in both directions before a plane lands or takes off to ensure that no wildlife such as kangaroos are on the runway. April 2022.
