The paraglider has taken off from the eastern end of Carlo Sandblow but the breeze from ocean dropped so the flyer had to land on the beach. Mouse over for more info. The paraglider, on the right, packs it into a backpack comprising the flyer's seat. The man on the left also landed on the beach and has his on his back. They were going to walk to Rainbow Beach town and get a ride with someone to where their cars were parked. October 2021.

Named Rainbow Beach because of the various colours of the sand on the Hill at the back of the beach. The nearest 4wd hides a rocky outcrop which is underwater at high tide. The long queue of vehicles into the distance are day trippers going back to town before the tide closes the route and a few who will camp overnight are hurrying to get to their desired location. October 2021.
