Late afternoon light bringing out the details on a steam loco boiler at DownsSteam. This is waiting for restoration work, maybe next year. It belongs to another heritage rail group which doesn't have the resources to do the work it needs. September 2023.

At DownsSteam's workshop. Watering loco 106, 1000L at a time, so we can calibrate a water gauge being added to the tender. See PiP. We use rainwater which is collected from the Workshop roof and stored in a former rail tank wagon. The 1000L tank shown here was filled from that wagon. November 2023.
