The train which runs the shuttle trips between here at Toowoomba and Spring Bluff has emptied its passengers and is being made ready for the next run.

PiP (1) The shuttle train has its loco moved to the other end of the cars so it is ready to go to Spring Bluff with the afternoon run.
The rail worker needs to lift the coupling loop seen here hanging down. The air brake hose is to the right of the coupling and close to the buffer. The loco is stationary.
PiP (2) The coupling hook on the car.
PiP (3) The coupling loop has been raised and the loco slowly moves towards the car.
PiP (4) The coupling loop is over the hook and the air brakes hose is connected.
The driver can now test and inspect the brakes.
