There have been various supports under the branch at different times, usually a fallen branch with a bit of a fork. A support is added when the fruit gets heavy, our winter time.

Each year my wife cooks a lot of marmalade mixed with an orange or two from the tree behind it or with someone's surplus lemons. Do a search on my photos using mandarin to see more.
