Not dry times. This is a normal water flow but it will have short term increases from storms. Look at the photos in the album this one is in, then click on the link. The video shows the worst flood since European settlement.

Having dealt this year with Deluge and wreckage and flood after 9 years drought... i truly understand !

I'm amazed when I see photos of English towns with the buildings standing at almost the edge of a river/creek. It doesn't happen in Australia because every watercourse is subject to flooding, except if it's close to flowing into the ocean.
