Old SW for Model 100 legacy laptop PC (1988)
This is Software for my first laptop computer, a Model 100 from Tandy (www.club100.org). The computer also was licensed to Olivetti, wh sold it under the name M10.
I made SW for loan calculation, morse code training, satellite tracking, teletype mashine emulator, graphics printing etc.
The teletype mashine emulator I did for myself (for amateur radio), but then it has been used together with a printer to replace (1985?) the heavy teletype mashines in the "Polarstern" (www.awi.de/en/infrastructure/ships/polarstern), a research vessel of the Alfred Wegner Institute in Bremerhaven. Several times it went to the south pole. Of course, today you have high speed satellite links.
