1993 wurde dieses 1956 gebaute norwegische Postschiff durch die M/S Richard With abgelöst und stillgelegt. Im August 1994 wurde das Schiff zum Hurtigrutemuseum in Stokmarknes gegeben. Es ist inzwischen Teil des Museums.
Ich habe es am 07.10.2015 erneut besucht und nun auch von innen gesehen und seine Einrichtung und Ausstattung mit dem Komfort der heutigen Schiffe vergleichen können. -
