Yes it was dark, because it was late in the afternoon and the hotel window is under a porch. I think the light inside the lobby helped a lot.
May be 1/30 (I set the camera to not go under 1/30 second) @2.8

Thanks for your detailed explanation, Giancarlo! You have steady hands :-) It's not easy to keep the photo so clear with such a shutter speed in 135 film.

It looks like the view to a great hall...cathedral or prison...until your eye sees through the veil. Brilliant.
