Neriki

Leopard 45 Catamaran on the Noosa River near Chaplin Park. The Leopard 45 won Cruising World's 'Best Charter Boat of the Year' award in 1998. Very thoughtfully designed to excel in the bareboat charter market, the luxury-oriented catamaran handles easily, is very generously equipped and has a large cockpit, saloon and cabins. Standard equipment includes air conditioning, high powered engines, extensive electronics and an electric windlass. Four spacious and private cabins are available all with en-suite heads and showers. The deck layout is clear and the mainsheet traveller runs on an arch over the transom giving unimpeded access to the water via a wide aft bathing platform. Lively performance under sail and power. multihull-maven.com/Boats/Leopard_45 60/365

Poor Jeff

Called in today to see the remnants of the T Rex at Coolum, Mount Coolum in the background. 3 March 2015 Fire has destroyed a 10-metre model Tyrannosaurus rex, nicknamed Jeff, that was standing at Clive Palmer's resort on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. Firefighters were called to the blaze at the Coolum resort about 1:30am to find Jeff already well alight. Inside the Palmersaurus www.abc.net.au/news/2015-03-03/clive-palmers-dinosaur-par... Learn the fun facts and controversies surrounding Clive Palmer's dinosaur theme park Palmersaurus. Police had been investigating whether the fire was started deliberately, but Mr Palmer told the ABC he did not believe arson was involved in Jeff's demise. "Apparently he's had an electrical fault and burnt down," he said. "There was a storm through the morning and all I know is there was an electrical fault and he caught fire and that was the end of him." Mr Palmer said he was still deciding whether to bring in a replacement once what remained of Jeff was dismantled. "Jeff's brother is waiting in the dinosaur park to be liberated to take his place," the Federal MP said. "Question is whether we bring him out or whether we leave him where he is - he's very happy with the other dinosaurs. "Certainly the next birth we have of a dinosaur, we will name after Jeff." QWERTY Keyboard

The arrangement of characters on a QWERTY keyboard was designed in 1868 by Christopher Sholes, the inventor of the typewriter. According to popular myth, Sholes arranged the keys in their odd fashion to prevent jamming on mechanical typewriters by separating commonly used letter combinations. webopedia.com/TERM/Q/QWERTY_keyboard.html Shallow DoF 65/365 The Alphabet Site - Q

Birds

Every day the Rainbow Lorikeets fly up from the Noosa River to feed on the trees in our garden. Late afternoon they fly back to the river. 66/365 Noosa Hinterland, Queensland

Noosa Surf Festival

Sunday in Noosa. So busy we couldn't park, so I hopped out for a few photos. Now in its 24th year, the Noosa Festival of Surfing has firmly established itself as the leading surf cultural event in the world. It is also the biggest surfing event in the world by competitor numbers (more than 600 entries from 15 countries in 2015). With perfect waves on five point breaks, free movies and live bands plus cold beer and wine at the festival village right on the sand in front of the break, it’s the world’s best surf party. noosafestivalofsurfing.com/nfos15/ visitnoosa.com.au 67/365
