Forced perspective View towards Noosa Hill and coast in Queensland. Very tricky. For this one I had the choice of focussing on the foreground, the distance or somewhere in between. This is somewhere in between :-) Will definitely try this technique again when I am next at the Eiffel Tower :-) :-) Might be a while! Manual focus, tripod and flash, f/25. Lemonade Citrus x meyeri This unusual citrus is a cross between the Meyer lemon and a true lemon. Many fruits are on it at the moment. The Lemonade is widely grown in backyards throughout Australia. It looks like a lemon, but can be eaten straight from the tree, just like a mandarin or orange. It’s a lot sweeter than a lemon with a refreshing tang. I used Shutter Speed Priority as I was crouching down in the road, and wanted a quick shot before any cars came along. Some tiny blemishes removed, no other editing. First attempt at cutting out an image using GIMP 2. Wouldn't do this often, very fiddly and time consuming, but fascinating results :-) My Rainbow Lorikeet image, taken 2013 (in note), with a background crop of the Snowman Christmas scene.
