1997 Vail Top of Hunky Dory Run

2023 Archive Airings - AA360....Ice Cold Skiing at Vail in February 1997, staying at the Tivoli Lodge. The ski runs were amazing at Vail, so wide and smooth. The mountain restaurants were huge. The fashion was over the top. Quite an experience. Top of Eagle's Nest View to Tivoli Lodge USA trip 1997 from Queensland.

1997 Deckchairs at Bearclaw's Cabin

2023 Archive Airings - AA360....Ice Cold There are not enough adjectives to describe Sundance Resort in the Provo Canyon in Utah. Wow, stunning scenery, exhilarating ski runs, rustic log cabins. Just one of the best places that we have visited. An incredibly memorable experience. The view from Bearclaw’s Cabin is fantastic. A very special place. Stampede Log cabin accommodation USA trip 1997 from Queensland. www.utah.com/ski/resorts/sundance.htm Robert Redfords Sundance Utah is a four season resort in the mountains of Utah… Bearclaw Ride Ray’s and Arrowhead ski lifts up the mountain to the only mountaintop lodge in Utah. Take in the spectacular 360 degree views of Heber and Utah Valleys and the surrounding Wasatch Mountain. www.sundanceresort.com/ "Great runs, gorgeous scenery and no crowds make Sundance one of winter's best in the West," noted Town and Country magazine. Intimate and rustic by design, Sundance differs from other resorts in more than size. Founded by Robert Redford in 1969, Sundance Resort is located on 5,000 acres of wilderness at the base of Utah's picturesque Mt. Timpanogos.

Next challenge - Collage OR Diptych, Triptych, etc.

Such wonderful images for the light and shadow challenge, really impressive! www.ipernity.com/group/daysincolour365/doc For this week, I know some of you don't like doing photo collages, so alternatively, you can do the old fashioned collage with a collection of items, much like a still life, e.g. with shells, or pieces of driftwood, etc. For more information on options and examples, please see the link to SC41, post 16 April ... www.ipernity.com/group/daysincolour365/discuss/198344

Link to SC51 A picture is worth a thousand words

Sunday Challenge 51 - A picture is worth a thousand words Moving on from the wonderful historical images, thanks everyone. Here is an opportunity for you to interpret "A picture is worth a thousand words" with your own photo, letting it tell the story. Anything goes (family friendly, of course), and you may wish to add a description anyway. www.ipernity.com/group/daysincolour365/discuss/198456
