My focus seems to be on the bud, which looks like an alien.

This magnificent evergreen, shrub is slow growing and sits around an average height of 1m. It features dense green, oval shaped leaves with a variety of beautifully perfumed lavender, and white shades of flowers that bloom between September & November.
