This once graceful old Queenslander stood, since 1919, on the corner of Poinciana Avenue and Sidoni Street, known as Tait's corner, in the small town of Tewantin near Noosa in Queensland, Australia.

It has been in Wallace Park for over five years now, waiting for a new purpose. It has a rich and colourful history, having been the home of the Tait family for many years. Redevelopment of Tait's corner resulted in the removal of this historic landmark to its present site, near the Noosa Library.
