That willow is massive and needs wooden beams to support some of its branches to avoid breakage!

Seeing man made stuff in a living city covered with ivy makes us realized that without us, nature will take over real fast

Here is the first publication done on my new toy, the Fuji X-T50! I chose this
one for the films simulations to make the post prod as quick as possible. On that pic, I kept the jpeg sooc and cropped it a bit. I’m learning streetphoto and I already feel that it changes how I look at my surroundings :D

Sometimes, I must let the heart talk. Technically, this pic is not really remarkable, the crane creates noise in the reading, the light has nothing special neither and so on… But something still catches my eye so let’s post it ^^

On Pixelfed, my network grow quite fast and my eyes have been caught by the work of @Alice@gram.social, who only posts square formats, mostly urbans, and that I found quite peculiar. This shot is an hommage to her work by borrowing her style :D

For this one, I was aiming to take the building only, but I saw a guy walking into the frame, so I wait a bit and I think it makes the shot more lively :D

That one was taken on a very calm small drive so I wasn’t paying much attention to the traffic… I got startled by a honking ^^'

I “treated” myself with the so called Oreo lens at Ali for 13 or 15€. For those who doesn’t know it, it is the lens on disposable cameras fitted for any mount you need. And I think that it shows, the sharpness is far from being medium, and associated with the film simulation Classic Chrome, we really have this “disposable” look. It’s fun, but when I think some stores sell it 40€… It’s just a plastic lens in a plastic adaptor frame, no focus, fixed aperture at f/10 and 32mm focal length ^^' No really, it does not worth more than 15€

I lived in a small town in the “deep” suburbs of Paris, and there was this big park not very far. But being an indoor person, I went there only once and while sorting my old photos, I only kept that one and the big willow tree one, finding the others too dull to be published now ^^'

The opening of the subway station Villejuif Gustave Roussy was an event (like any new subway station opening nowadays) but in this Grand Paris project that have new lines and many lines extensions, they have put money into the architectural style for each stations. This one has a gigantic glass ceiling to have a maximum of light in the station as it is the deepest station of France.

For now, my practice of street photography isn’t really disciplined: no daily walks, no theme nor constrains other than a fixed focal length. I try to be alert of my environment to catch anything worth a picture, and sometimes, I like it, like here, thanks to the fences of the park.

Another sooc! The house seemed occupied but the shutters are in big need of refreshing, giving this aerie look
Squar… no, round!
