Weathered and Worn
A white picket fence with pink peonies flowers in the evening sunlight.
Notice some of the flowers are in full bloom, while others are spent already.
Although the fence needs a good paint job, it is still sturdy and not broken.
As with our own lives, the fence and the flowers go through cycles of renewal.
It is through our struggles that we become stronger in the many aspects of life.
God gives us hope, in that, He will show us the way .. all we do is, like flowers, depend on Him.
God works through people to do His work, like repairing and painting the fence.
When we are weathered and worn, the reality is that God is with us, though it may not feel like it.

Suburban Sidewalk at Dusk
A quiet suburban street featuring a white picket fence and stop sign. Shadows stretch across the sidewalk as the sun sets behind the trees.
Gaze at this just for a moment. In our fast paced world of convenience, its good to go for a walk and notice the elements of life around us. Listen to our own thoughts, and let God speak to us in the changing of the light and the season of the moment in time.

Autumn Leaves and Stairs
Colorful Autumn wind blown leaves gather at the bottom of the staircase in midwest America. From day to day, the formation of this is different based on how the wind blows them around. It’s similar way for those of us who love God, we move in the direction where he is at work, to meet him at his work.
