Frank J Casella has replied to Adele clubProbably just because he liked them. Best to adopt the same attitude, I think: make images in colours that you like, that other people might like. I think the exaggerated tones here do reflect something that IS there. Rather like the wild colours against my own “Platform “ photo, which you liked, Frank, have a fidelity to the wild forms and colours that really were there when the flares of gas burn-off once filled that industrial area. Phew!
Just a long-winded way of saying that I like this experiment. And the title pushes us towards the feeling that these saturated, hyper-real hues represent a joyful sense of possibilities, even for “ aged trees” like you and me…
