Just before mating

I feel incredibly lucky, was just about to head for home when a lesser spotted woodpecker (Dendrocopos minor or Picoides minor) landed on a branch not so far from me, and was joined by its mate shortly after. This was taken just before the mating -- they sat like this for a little while before all was just feathers and flapping wings for a short second, and they left.
