I had never seen one of these before today. Now I have seen many. Thank you for looking and for your kind comments.

First image using new macro flash diffuser. Early tests seem quite promising but I will need to add some diffusion to the front of the flash hood. Thank you for looking and for your kind comments.

I decided that it was about time that I got a macro flash diffuser. So last night I dusted off Solidworks and designed one. I made a rough model to represent the camera and flash head. Then designed the diffuser (shown in yellow) to fit around these. Today I got up and made the diffuser from card and tape. Inside is lined with silver foil. The Godox flash has a magnetic diffuser attached to the front of it. Test images to follow.

Not sure of the correct name for this daisy. Not the kind you find growing in your garden. Best viewed full screen. Thank you for looking and for your kind comments.
