It's a shame that those of us who don't use AI feel that we have to point out that we don't use AI
If I had my way it would be banned

I tried AI image creation.
Was not for me.
There are those on Ipernity who create really impressive AI images though.

The problem I have with it is the amount of energy and water needed to keep the machines going, for instance the energy used to create a single high quality image is equal to using a microwave oven on full power for over an hour, and it uses millions of gallons of water in its cooling system.
I do agree that there are some very good images created using AI, I guess that back in the day I would have been called a Luddite :-)))

It would appear that we have similar views James.
It's not only what you mentioned above.
There is also the issue with the world shortage of memory due to all the AI servers and the government super servers used to constantly collect data on everone!!
Us normal people can no longer afford to replace our old windows 7 pc's.
Guess I'm a Luddite too.
