Side view - Macro flash diffuser
This is still very much a prototype version.
As I had never used a 3D printer before I just used the filament that came with it.
This version was printed to verify that my dimensions were correct.
The support onto the camera lens is there to align the diffuser and also protects the foot of the godox flash.
I have already had to replace one of these in the past as they are made of thin plastic and not very strong.Currently there is a hole and two notches in the support so that a zip tie can be used to hold the diffuser in place. The next version will probably be changed to a velcro strap. The blue section was not intentional, I run out of filament so used what was available to finish the print.

Dave C club has replied to Jean-louis Thiaudier… clubThe printer came with loads of filament so no cost there.
This took over 20 hours to print.
The model, I already had designed a while ago. This model had to be converted to g-code for the printer.
I have found filament for £12 per kg.
A kg reel will give me more than enough filament to print the next one with spare for future projects.

I wonder if you're using the Sony FE 90 mm F2.8 Macro G OSS.
It seems to be a lens that is not too expensive but quite interesting, don't you think ?
Dave C club has replied to Au Cœur... diagonalh… clubIt was the lens that I purchased with the camera body so has worked out well.
I don't use any add-on macro lenses. I have tried a Raynox 250 in the past but didn't get on very well with it.
Don't be deceived by the photo's though.
All of my photo's are shot in raw and then processed with Photoshop and Lightroom.
I regularly crop my photos to improve composition.
