Valu-mart is a supermarket chain in Ontario and Quebec; all but one store are in Ontario. It's a classic example of late twentieth-century retail architecture.

...before I was so rudely interrupted, happy Fence Friday! Even though it's Monday!
Seriously, the two best photos I have to post at the moment are of fences, so here's the one I tried to upload Friday.

Another one influenced by Robert Adams, I think.

Marko Novosel and Steve Bucknell have suggested William Eggleston and Ed Ruscha as other possible influences, and I agree they may have played a role here. I certainly learned a lot about composition from them.
