Thanks, José. It took me a fair time to realize I could use the window art as a frame, though. This was my second attempt at these windows. I used to go to this coffeeshop once a week and I'd taken several bland photos the week before.

A clever idea to shoot from inside the store John...........it makes an unusual candid shot, enhanced by the colourful window pane.

As Joe said, my Saul Leiter moment. Probably my last one, too. Usually I shoot through windows from outside. And as I mentioned to José, it took me two visits to take a shot with a person in it.

I'd never heard of Saul Leiter, so I've been looking him up. His street art is amazing and I can now see what Joe meant by his comment.

I shall be having another look at his photos when I have a moment.

I'm continually running across distinguished photographers I've never heard of Keith. In my building people leave things they don't want but others ,ight on a shelf near the elevators. I discovered this fellow in a book one of them had left:
