It needs a bit of clipping, and I doubt if much can be done about the hole unless they have a small statue and a way to place it right.

I guess the idea is to provide a boundary between the two properties, Bob, though why anyone would have that isea I don't know. It seems to be mainly an obstruction. If they have to have something there I suggest a couple of smaller round bushes clipped to a point at the top.

This is a condo, Keith, so they're probably skimping on maintenance,

Rus in urbe is creating the look of the country in the city. Big gardens can be quite successful, but often the look is pretty skimpy. I suppose part of the reason for this is to obscure the wall, which is very long and would, if there were no greenery, give the building the look of a prison.
