marat dying with butterflies
birds gotta swim, fish gotta fly
dysfunctional family
my abstract home
blue spikes
flying high above the city
brillant et bleu un moment
waltzing above the ice
accretion of data
stretching tadpoles and upside dogs
burst over blue
autumnal reverie
cupping the void
dweller at the threshold
moment of intense confusion
fish indigo
talkin' 'bout that weird beast
silvery objects with boxfish
the cobbler's dream

pygoplites diacanthus
Cut-paper collage postcard with acrylic paint, inspired by beauty.
Pygoplites diacanthus is the scientific name of the Royal Empress Angelfish, whose distribution is the tropical Indo-Pacific Ocean, from Red Sea and East Africa to the Tuamoto Islands, north to the Ryukyu Islands, and south to the Great Barrier Reef. This fish inhabits coral reefs and associated coral-rich lagoons. It eats sponges, sea squirts, and similar animals. It's 25 cm (10") long.
