I really like this piece, somehow both magical & quite disconcerting, fully deserving of the oft-misused "Surreal" as a description of it.

I feel I recognise those eyes from a Hitchcock film, some kind of curtain of eyes, very scary. Dali collaborated with Hitch. I can’t remember which film.

I wonder why they're all right eyes. I mean it makes artistic sense that Dalí chose to depict eyes from just one side of the face, but I wonder how he chose which side. Just something that makes me curious...
