Stevie Ray and Emmylou

Stevie Ray is in the back, Emmylou in front—brother & sister (littermates) purebred oriental longhairs. They are only seven months old, but they are HUGE: 9 pounds and 8 pounds. Stevie Ray is a bicolor kitty, a combo of black-and-grey tabby, spots & stripes, with white. Emmylou is a chocolate "ticked" tabby: "ticking" refers to the black guard hairs on her back and sides.

Stevie Ray is named for Stevie Ray Vaughan, the late great Texas blues guitarist. Emmylou (yes, that's the correct spelling) is named for Emmylou Harris, the multitalented vocalist who's still with us.
