a trumpet and the music it's making
This is not my work. (I am, however, responsible for the lame title.) Usually I don't upload other artists' collages, but I can't resist showing off this one by my16-yr-old great niece, Grace. (She's also my art student, my mentee, but most of all, my dear friend.) I'm biased, of course, but I think this is a brilliant piece! =grin=

Isn't she talented? She's been making collages since she was a little girl. (Unlike me, who didn't get started in this medium until 2010, when I was in my 50s...) She's a musician herself: she plays the double bass in our local youth orchestra.
