The book I destroyed for this project, Great Lakes, Great Quilts, had such sharp, beautiful photos of the quilts, I couldn't resist showing y'all a close-up: this is just one 1.5" square--the Crazy Quilt in position 4 across, 4 down of the grid seen on the outside front.
