I really enjoyed what you had to say about turkeys...yours are that aggressive? WOW! It never occurred to me that they might be mean...perhaps they are more aggressive where you live? Or I don't know...Steve and I never ever approach them or if they are where we are going, we are very slow and respectful. In all the years we've lived here (over 10) they have been nothing but gentle and mild-mannered. Maybe they have some sense from the time we've been here that we aren't dangerous to them so, though they are wary and leave when they see us, they don't ever give off a sense of needing to attack because we have never acted aggressively towards them.
Interesting. Thanks for sharing the behavior of the birds where you live. Totally fascinating. :)
