Buntsanstein - Genoveva Höhle - Trier
Colouful sandstone ~ 250 million years old. The Buntsanstein was sedimented in a large tropical sea spread across present day Poland, Germany, Denmark, the southern regions of the North Sea and Baltic Sea, the Netherland and southern England.
