I WAS ALSO CHARMED BY THE TYPICAL ARCHITECTURE, PAM, WHICH PLACES BUILDINGS CLOSE TOGETHER TO PROVIDE SHADE, EVEN WHEN THEY ARE MAJESTIC AND/OR OFFICIAL. ITALIANS COMPETE IN THEIR IMAGINATION WHEN IT COMES TO THE ARCHES AND VAULTS SEPARATING THEM.
