Thanks for the picture and thanks for the information. Didn't know this ! But I know that France takes a lot of risk to continue the atomic Programme. The anti-nuclear fight in Germany has a long tradition and Is not dead. I hope it will continue all over the world where this technology is still used ! No nukes !

Un sujet pertinent,surtout en France avec ces 77% de l’électricité produite.Ce grand pourcentage est d’origine nucléaire.(leader dans le monde entier.)Je partage exactement tes craintes bien que je sois loin,plus ou moins du danger,mais n’empêche que toute la france et ses alentours sont menacés ..Le risque d’un accident a des conséquences très graves pour la santé et l’environnement...Merci d'avoir essayé d’éveiller les consciences .

As to Italy, four Italian nuclear power stations were closed due to age limits, or following the 1987 referendums, although , now, many regret not having them, unaware?! of how many dangers we would run with all the latest earthquakes and floods in our country.
. Of course, although we no longer have nuclear power to produce energy, many power stations surround Italy operating in various European countries....

I heard about the earthquake you mentioned but not one more word to let us know the risks concerning the plant.

Everybody, by now, is massively aware that the media, wherever in the world ,are mostly governed by political and economic power, but to realize it every time is increasingly terrible by emphasizing our sense of helplessness.

Thank you so much dear Eric for your powerful images in their dramatically meaningful juxtaposition and for your report so keen and necessary to awaken our awareness from a state of more and more tragic drowsiness mostly felt as a kind of self-defense !!!( sometimes by myself included, I mean.)

The ima wants to try democracy within it. It is not easy. It is even less so within a State when so many interests are at stake, too often personal. I don't believe in it anymore - for a long time. There are so many other ways of administering humanity, which are not made available to us.
