In Bielefeld war das Hauptquartier der Rheinarmee - es gab bei den Offizieren einen Chor - in diesem habe ich als Bass einige male gesungen - wir haben uns gut verstanden -

I too, pass by the twin-town signs of Bielefeld, as coming from the nearby Lancashire town of Oldham. It is interesting to see this family portrait in the same phrase here. I too, sang bass in some of our local choirs. My father was stationed in Hilderseim near Hannover. -Small world! As for the photograph here -one to be treasured.
