New rule: make sure camera battery is charged before opening the kiln. Photograph each shelf with real actual camera *before* removing anything. :)

Crappy phone-pic of most of the contents of the middle shelf. I'm beyond pleased with the results of this firing - nothing went horribly wrong, both bead racks worked as advertised (at the higher temperatures the metal rods are more likely to sag if there's too much weight, which best case just gets a couple of beads stuck together but more likely results in things sticking to the kiln shelf and/or the supports), and there were some really nice surprises (i'm still testing the glazes on the black clay, and really have no idea how anything is going to turn out). :)
