I'm having a lot of fun with it. :D (it's lomography's Petzval lens; after leaving the park, I discovered their shop just around the corner, and picked up (among other things) the Experimental Aperture Plate kit (a star, a teardrop, a hexagon, and a blank for cutting your own patterns) for some fun Silly Bokeh Tricks :) )

Thank for the additional information. It also seem to give good and sharp outcome on focused area. I once bought a LensBaby lens, but it somehow always seem to give rather bad results.

That's kind of funny - I was actually checking out the various LensBaby kits when I discovered the Petzval. :D

Well, I don't know about Petzval, but at least with LensBaby I discovered this. The area of best (sharp) focus is in the middle of scene. Therefore it can be sometimes a good idea to leave space generously around the main subject, to make it possible to crop the image and avoid too center oriented compositions. I don't mean it would look bad if the main subject is in the middle, but sometimes one may wish to try something like one thirds or even more dramatic composition.
